01·Company Responsible

The company responsible for processing your personal data on this website is Flint & Company AG, Am Bach 7, CH-8700 Küsnacht, Switzerland. You can find our full contact information below.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and process it in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP); where visitors from the EU/EEA are concerned, we also follow the principles of the GDPR.

02·Access Data / Server Log Files

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores the information provided by your internet browser in server log files. This includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (previously visited website)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time of the server request
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Status of the access attempt

This processing is technically necessary to deliver and secure the website and does not require your consent. IP addresses are anonymised or deleted after use. When anonymised, IPs are altered so they can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual except through disproportionate effort. We analyse this data in anonymised form to detect issues, optimise performance, and ensure availability.

03·Contact and Forms

Our website offers two forms: the "Book a Demo" form (name, email address, company and your message) and the newsletter signup (email address). The data you enter is transmitted directly to our customer relationship management (CRM) system HubSpot(hubspot.com), operated by HubSpot, Inc. (USA) and, for customers in Europe, HubSpot Ireland Ltd. Our HubSpot account is hosted in HubSpot's EU data centre. There, your details are stored as a contact so that we can handle your request and, if you have opted in, send you our newsletter. HubSpot acts on our instructions and may not use your data for its own purposes. Submitting a form does not load any HubSpot script and does not set any HubSpot cookies on this website.

You only receive the newsletter if you actively tick the consent checkbox in the signup form. We store this consent, including its wording and timestamp, in HubSpot.

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, in the case of the newsletter, to send you occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — every message contains an unsubscribe option, and you can also simply write to info@heyflint.ai.

Legal basis: your consent, respectively the taking of steps at your request in view of a possible contractual relationship.

Retention: we keep form data only for as long as we need it to handle your request and any follow-up questions; newsletter data is deleted once you unsubscribe. You can of course also contact us directly atinfo@heyflint.ai instead of using a form.

04·Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

For the operation of this website we rely on a small number of carefully selected service providers:

  • Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the website, including protection against attacks.
  • HubSpot — CRM: receiving and storing submissions from the demo and newsletter forms, and sending the newsletter.
  • Google — web analytics via Google Analytics 4, used only with your consent (see section 08).

These providers are contractually obligated to process your data only as instructed by us. Any other use of your data by them is prohibited. We do not sell your personal data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes.

We do not currently operate as part of a group of companies or have a parent entity. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

05·Disclosure of Data to Recipients Abroad

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside Switzerland. In particular, Google may process analytics data in theUSA. HubSpot stores our data in its EU data centre; access from the USA (HubSpot, Inc.) for support and operations cannot be ruled out.

Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards — in particular the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) — or, where applicable, on other legally permissible grounds such as your consent or contractual necessity. You can request information about these safeguards from us at any time.

06·Job Offers and Online Applications

If you apply for a job via our website or email (e.g.,jobs@heyflint.ai), we collect and process your application data exclusively for the recruitment process. Your data will be deleted after the position is filled, unless legal requirements mandate longer retention or you have agreed to extended storage for future openings. If you are hired, your data will be processed in accordance with applicable employment laws and internal policies.

You may request deletion of your applicant data at any time ("right to be forgotten").

07·Cookies and Consent

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. On this website, a consent banner appears on your first visit and no analytics or advertising cookies are loaded before you opt in. Without your consent we use only strictly necessary cookies — security cookies set by our hosting provider and the cookie that stores your consent decision.

We use no advertising, marketing or remarketing cookies and no social-media pixels. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. The complete list of cookies, including provider, purpose and duration, is set out in our Cookie Notice.

08·Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Subject to your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, respectively Google LLC for processing outside the EU/EEA ("Google"). We use it to understand in aggregate how our website is used — for example how many people visit it and which pages they find useful.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you have opted in via our consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all consent signals set to denied by default, so no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent until you agree. IP anonymisation is enabled, meaning your IP address is shortened before further processing and is not merged with other Google data.

The cookies used for this purpose are _ga and_ga_<ID>, each with a lifetime of about two years; details are listed in our Cookie Notice. Data collected in Google Analytics is retained for a limited period only — currently 14 months — and is deleted automatically afterwards.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, with effect for the future. Independently of this, you can prevent analysis across all websites with Google's opt-out browser add-on:tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

For more information, see Google's terms and privacy information:

09·Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct or delete your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw any previously given consent

To exercise these rights, please contact us (see contact details below). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC):www.edoeb.admin.ch.
